Hyundai IONIQ 6 is Car and Driver's 2023 EV of the Year

Hyundai's next-gen E-GMP electric vehicle platform has been a huge hit since the debut of the acclaimed Hyundai IONIQ 5. The retro-futuristic crossover captured numerous awards, including being named Car and Driver's 2022 EV of the Year. Car and Driver editors extensively reviewed 14 high-rated new EVs over a three-week period. Vehicles were evaluated in areas like value, mission fulfillment, technology advancement, and driving enjoyment. When it was all over, the IONIQ 6 stood victorious at the head of the pack.
