Hyundai Sonata SE
The Hyundai Sonata SE comes equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. Capable of 191 horsepower and 181 pounds-feet of torque, it also offers up to 28 miles per gallon on city roads and 38 miles per gallon on the highway.
Every Sonata SE also comes with a standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Its standard safety suite includes assistance features like forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and driver attention warning.
Hyundai Sonata SEL
The Hyundai Sonata SEL utilizes the same 191 horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder powertrain as base SE trim. This, again, offers a fuel economy of up to 28 miles per gallon on city roads with 38 miles per gallon on the highway.
The SEL model makes significant upgrades to the rest of its equipment, however. New SEL models come with keyless entry and push-button start. SEL drivers will also enjoy amenities like heated front seating, a hands-free trunk, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The SEL trim builds on the SE model's standard safety technology with safety exit warnings, blind-spot warnings, rear cross-traffic alerts, and more. The Sonata SEL can be upgraded with the Sonata's Convenience Package.
Hyundai Sonata SEL Plus
The Hyundai Sonata SEL Plus comes with many of the same features you'll find in the Sonata SEL, with some impressive additional upgrades. Chief among them? A powerful 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. This turbocharged powertrain delivers slightly less horsepower but ups the ante in other areas 195 pounds-feet of torque.
The SEL Plus also offers extra niceties like simulated suede and faux leather seating and also comes with all the features in the SEL's optional Convenience package. These include wireless smartphone charging, a panoramic sunroof, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The SEL Plus can be upgraded with the optional Sonata Tech Package.
Hyundai Sonata Limited
The Hyundai Sonata Limited offers all the features in the SEL Plus trim, along with a long list of impressive extras.
These include amenities like upgraded LED headlights, heated/ventilated seating, ambient interior light, and a useful heads-up display. Its 18-inch wheels, combined with the SEL Plus's turbocharged engine, make for a smooth and comfortable ride. Genuine leather seating and a heated steering while also come with the Limited Sonata. As do additional safety options like a surround-view monitor and smart parking assist.
Hyundai Sonata N Line
Are you interested in high performance. Then the Hyundai Sonata N Line is the car for you. Built for dynamic driving, it offers a powerful 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine capable of 290 horsepower and 311 pounds-feet of torque.
